In collaboration with Norito Gallery, Teaspoon Projects recently hosted a surrealism-inspired writing workshop in response to the exhibition Heterotopia, a duo exhibition of works by Francesca Hummler and Ivana Vozelj. The session was led by Elspeth Walker, and brought together a brilliant group of participants for an afternoon of playful, intuitive writing and collective exploration.

Drawing inspiration from the work of the artists, the group delved into surrealist techniques such as the ‘exquisite corpse’, read from the writings of Leonora Carrington, and responded directly to the richly layered visual world of the exhibition.
